Live Session: Exploring Moodle (LMS) with Mark DuBois

Do you want to learn more about using a Learning Management System (LMS) for your teaching practice?  There are several LMS platforms you can use to create an online learning environment. Moodle is one LMS used widely (and it’s free - as in "free puppy").  Join this live session to learn more about Moodle from our resident e-learning expert, Mark DuBois.

Mark will give us a tour of Moodle from the perspective of a teacher setting up a basic learning environment, and he’ll offer us some best practices for using Moodle as an LMS. You can use Adobe Captivate and other Adobe tools within the Moodle ecosystem and Mark will show you examples.

Mark DuBois is an Adobe Education Trainer and Adobe Education Leader.  He is professor of web systems at Illinois Central College.

* You will need a web server to install Moodle (perhaps your school/workplace already has it installed).
